Employee Engagement & Development

Our commitment to creating a supportive and connected workplace reinforces our continued investments in initiatives that help our employees grow professionally and personally. Our people strategy and mission focus on creating a culture of workplace engagement rooted in the values and traits that attract and retain talent, all while delivering scalable and effective services and programs to our employees worldwide.

We use a variety of communication and engagement methods—including companywide meetings, virtual development courses, and in-person and online activities—to support blended teams operating in remote, hybrid, and in-office environments and help employees stay connected. Our quarterly All-Employee Meetings feature updates on company priorities, progress reports, and a forum for employees to ask questions and share feedback with the rest of the organization.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Our global workforce is a diverse team that represents a wide range of identities, ages, ethnicities, life experiences, and perspectives. We value the unique perspectives that our employees bring and appreciate how they enhance our ability to collaborate, innovate, and bring new solutions to market. Our approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is outlined in our policies, programs, and initiatives, which include mandatory DEI training as well as ERGs to support our employees.

We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every employee feels respected, valued, and empowered to bring their authentic self to work. We host regular events and workshops that celebrate diversity, promote cultural awareness, and provide forums for employees to engage in meaningful discussions together and learn from one another’s experiences. Discrimination and harassment of any kind against our employees or business partners is strictly prohibited. Our employee handbook details our anti-discrimination policy, which emphasizes equitable treatment and fair practices in recruitment, promotion, performance evaluation, compensation, and training.

We are committed to equitable hiring and promotion practices and believe that all Penguin employees deserve equal access to opportunities for growth and advancement. We partner with nonprofits, industry groups, and educational institutions that promote diversity and inclusion, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-serving Institutions (HSIs).

Wellness, Health, and Safety

At Penguin Solutions, wellness and workplace safety are paramount. By providing safe and healthy work environments for all of our employees, we are better able to deliver exceptional products and services. Our steadfast commitment to this topic is reflected in our comprehensive health and safety policies and programs, which are in effect at all of our locations worldwide.

Because we value the well-being of every person in our workforce, we offer resources tailored to meet individuals’ physical, mental, and emotional needs. Free counseling sessions and other wellnessoriented activities and programs are available through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which can be accessed by employees and their immediate family. We strive to keep employees aware of available EAP benefits and review and improve our offerings regularly.
