SMART Modular Technologies' T5PFLC M.2 2280 SATA solid state drives (SSDs) deliver high performance, high capacity storage solutions optimized for commercial, industrial and other applications requiring durable and secure storage. The T5PFLC also comes equipped with FIPS 140-2 encryption capabilities.
Powered by a flexible flash controller, T5PFLC SSDs provide sustained read/write performance to meet the needs of high throughput database applications, as well as transactional and boot and load applications.
T5PFLC SSDs offer up to 2TB of storage using 3D TLC NAND Flash. They are more reliable, offer superior performance, and require less power and cooling than traditional hard disk drives (HDDs).
SafeDATA technology combines unique power loss detection and hold-up circuitries with an advanced controller firmware algorithm to flush in-flight data from volatile cache to NAND Flash memory in order to safeguard data against corruption and/or loss during the sudden power loss.
S.M.A.R.T. is a self-monitoring system that prevents risks from unscheduled downtime by monitoring and displaying critical drive information. The indicators includes the drive’s health, status, usage info and potential disk problems.
Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a hardware-based encryption method for converting data from an unencrypted into an encrypted format. 256 bits encryption key length makes it virtually impossible to decrypt the data without the original key.
Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Storage Work Group created the Opal Security Subsystem Class (SSC) as one class of security management protocol for storage devices. It is the most recognized standard for self-encrypting drives (SEDs). SMART offers TCG Opal 2.0 compliant self-encrypting SSDs incorporating AES encryption for rock-solid data protection.
From small industrial components deployed in automation systems to large equipment used for oil drilling, project operations are asked to provide precise instructions, occasionally in harsh environments. Therefore, it is critical to maintain the accuracy of data output in addition to maintaining continuous, stable operating performance.
Use of digital and video monitoring has expanded by leaps and bounds, and has become more sophisticated for transmitting digital signals. Monitoring systems are now expected to provide megapixel quality on a 24/7 basis, whether it’s for safety, personal or business protection, crime prevention, or for other types of content analysis such as facial analysis and streaming data. When not transmitting recorded images by digital signal, the surveillance system in the analog setting functions as a monitoring tool for safety concerns. In either mode of operation, SMART Modular offers a variety of storage solutions for high-performance monitoring needs.
