Android Nougat 7 for Inforce Snapdragon™ 410 Based Platforms

Inforce Computing Snapdragon™ 410 powered platforms got a big upgrade! Android Nougat has arrived with our new Android software release V3.0. This release features Android 7.1.1 which is based on Linux kernel version 3.10.49. This is specifically applicable to Inforce products: Inforce 6301 Micro SOM based dev kit and Micro SBC Inforce 6309.

Android Nougat comes extra sweet with some added value that we think you may enjoy. The OS comes with more languages settings to take advantage of multi-markets for your product. The next feature is a sure highlight as security is at the heart of IoT products. This OS is built with new features to improve the security and encryption of your data. The following features are supported in this release for both IFC6309 and SYS6301:

Additional features have been enabled for the single board computer IFC6309:
