New Release for ACC-1S80 4K Video Input Card for Inforce 6640

For those developers currently figuring out the best way to add 4K video technology input into their devices, tune in now.  Inforce recently announced Inforce ACC-1S80, an accessory card used with Inforce Snapdragon™ 820 platforms to bring 4K video input in through dual MIPI-CSI.

We are excited to announce that we have uploaded a new release for ACC-1S80 on Inforce 6640.  This new release V0.3 supports new features showcasing 4K preview and recording.

Features supported in this release:

  1. Preview: The release supports preview video frames in the following formats:
    1. 4K: 3840x2160 @30 fps
    2. 1080p: 1920x1080 @30 fps
    3. 720p: 1280x720 @30, 60 fps
    4. 480p: 640x480 @60 fps
  2. Recording: The release supports recording in the following formats:
    1. 4K: 3840x2160 @30 fps
    2. 1080p: 1920x1080 @30 fps
    3. 720p: 1280x720 @60 fps
    4. 480p: 640x480 @60 fps
  3. Audio: Audio can be tested using signal generators agnostic to sink EDID information.

This software release works with the Android Nougat 7.1.1 BSP for Inforce 6640, Snapdragon 820 single board computer.  You can find this V0.3 ACC-1S80 release, along with more information in our release notes, can be downloaded at Inforce TechWeb.
